Staining Doors

Staining Doors

This is an interesting trick I just learned, when you want to stain a door. Of course first, you need to sand it to make sure the pores are clean. Then, cover all the nail holes with a filler. After this process is over, use a roller to apply the stain to the door.

Let it sit for about 2 minutes and remove the excess with a rag.

Your finish will look more even and it will take you half of the time to stain the doors. Nice ha?!  Make sure to leave the stain dry before you seal the doors.  An estimated time of 4 hours is okay but, you may want to consider the weather.
